About Autism
Autism is a brain development disorder that impairs social interaction and communication,
and causes restricted and repetitive behavior, all starting before a child is three years old.
This set of signs distinguishes autism from milder autism spectrum disorders (ASD) such as Asperger's syndrome.
The main characteristics are impairments in social interaction, impairments in communication,
restricted interests and repetitive behavior.

Group Therapy
Move With Me!
This group offers the opportunity for parents to spend uninterrupted, quality time with their child. Often times children diagnosed on the Autistic Spectrum have greater difficulty engaging
in meaningful interactions with their parents. Through movement, play, and music you will explore
new and creative ways of communicating and interacting with your child in order to strengthen your
relationship and improve overall quality of life.
Friends At Play!
This is a fun, creative play group designed to support children with Autism Spectrum Disorders
and ADHD in expanding on social skills, communication, and spontaneity. Children will participate
in structured games, movement, music, and art activities while developing relationships with others
and learning new skills. In addition, ongoing consultations with parents will be held to support in
developing these new skills at home and in the community too!
We are now accepting new participants for these groups
